Spinal Tap – English heavy metal band created by American comedians and musicians Michael McKean (as lead singer and co-lead guitarist David St. Hubbins), Christopher Guest (as lead guitarist Nigel Tufnel) and Harry Shearer (as bassist Derek Smalls). They are characterized as “one of England’s loudest bands”. McKean, Guest and Shearer wrote and performed original songs for the band. Listen out for all your favorite Spinal Tap Singles in this weeks mix! A few well known tracks are “Bitch School”. The Majesty Of Rock”, and “Back From The Dead”.
Spread Eagle – American hard rock band Spread Eagle from New York City, New York, United States. After only a few months of formation they were signed by MCA/Universal Records. They’ve released three albums: “Spread Eagle”, “Open To The Public” and “Subway To The Stars”, and we p[ulled the best of all of them into your heavy metal party statiion mix!
Steeler – An early 1980s American heavy metal band best known for featuring Swedish guitar virtuoso Yngwie Malmsteen upon his arrival in the United States. The band was founded in 1981 in Nashville, Tennessee by vocalist Ron Keel and released a sole album on Shrapnel Records in 1983 before morphing into Keel. Several weeks ago we gave you Keel’s best of and now you can hear all of Steelers best in the mix too. Your welcome rockers!
