Alien Force – “We Meet Again
The wait is over. Finally, classic heavy metal merchants ALIEN FORCE will break the 35-year silence since their last studio album and release a new collection of songs. “We Meet Again” is the eagerly awaited new Alien Force studio album, and it doesn’t disappoint: it’s melodic, it’s tight and it bears that classical sound that made the Danes a band to be reckoned in the international scene. Few bands could hold the pressure of three decades and a half of accumulated expectations, but Alien Force do it in spades! “We Meet Again” will be released on vinyl, CD, and digitally via From The Vaults on 26th November 2021.

Electric Guitars

“Freewheeler” The fourth album from ELECTRIC GUITARS who have a cult following in Denmark for their lively guitar riff-centric rock and energy-filled live shows.

The brainchild of Soren Andersen of the Glenn Hughes Band, and Mika Vandborg who has worked with many huge artists including Justin Hawkins of the Darkness, this talented pair are well known as much sought after session musicians as well as live performers. Soren Andersen is also a world-class producer and engineer, owner of Medley Studios in Copenhagen, and has been called ‘the new Mutt Lange’. In Electric Guitars this dynamic duo turns their talents to their own project.

The band is already well known in Denmark and Jesper and Jacob Binzer of D-A-D appeared on their 2017 “Rock n Roll Radio” album and several times with the band on stage. Frequently oversubscribed by work for other artists the pandemic has given Electric Guitars a chance to re-focus on songwriting and create THE album to bring them to the attention of the whole world. For fans of D-A-D, AC/DC, Thin Lizzy & Glenn Hughes. “Freewheeler” will be released in vinyl, CD and digital formats via Mighty Music on November 12th, 2021.

Sacred Oath “Return Of The Dragon”

Connecticut power thrashers Sacred Oath come back with their ninth full-length album, the fiery Return Of The Dragon. While sticking to that power/thrash template, the veteran unit broaden their sound with different influences. Return Of The Dragon is engaging and well-worth multiple listens.

“Return Of The Dragon” is all the very best aspects of Sacred Oath metal in 10 new songs, each filled with powerful emotion and musicianship in a thunderous aural assault.” Featuring Rob Thorne, Kenny Evans, Bill Smith, Brendan Kelleher, Damiano Christian on the album. “Return Of The Dragon” was released April 2ND 2021 via Angel Thorne Music/SRGILS/Caroline/UMG

The Fifth “The Fifth EP

The Fifth is an American hard rock band from Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States. Formed by original members vocalist Roy Cathey, guitarist Dave ”DC” Garcia, bassist Bernie “b-man” Mangiboyat, and drummer Rob Lee.
Their self-titled EP sees The Fifth return to the melodic hard rock world in style, delivering a knockout blow from the very first track, first single “Shake Little Sister,” followed by “Calm Before The Storm” with lush acoustic guitars and stunning three part harmonies. “Home” a tribute to the power ballads with “Comin’ To Get Ya” a stomping rocker with elements of Audioslave and eerie Alice in Chains-esque harmonies. Closing the record out, “Roll The Bones” is the Every Man Anthem, reminiscent of classic Van Halen and Whitesnake that gets the blood pumping with catchy lyrics and soaring guitars. The guys really have found the perfect lineup and sound on this killer new EP.

Timechild “And Yet It Moves”

TIMECHILD is massive and organic heavy rock from Copenhagen, Denmark. The band’s soundscape is made up of a powerful and present lead vocal, characteristic twin guitars and atmospheric vocal harmonies, which together create their unique Scandinavian expression.

Timechild was formed in 2020 by four seasoned musicians from different corners of Denmark. With extensive past experience in a number of former and existing Danish rock and metal bands, the members had already crossed paths on both Danish and international stages. When the opportunity arose, they decided to unite their musical experiences and visions and created Timechild.

The record is produced, mixed and mastered by Soren Andersen (Glenn Hughes, Jesper Binzer, Thundermother, Marco Mendoza, Artillery). With his vast experience in the genre, both as a producer and musician, Soren was a natural choice when the band’s songs were to be immortalised. The result is nine songs that show the band’s broad dynamic range. From quiet, dark and melodic passages to over-marching twin guitars and energetic heavy rock. With “And Yet it Moves”, Timechild is ready to wow audiences with their expression of heavy rock anno 2021.

Timechild’s debut album, “And Yet It Moves”, will be released on November 12th via Mighty Music.

Plus a whole lot more as we are tearing through a huge backlog of bands and unleashing the jams on the daily.
Have a great rocking week and be sure to take us with ya’ until next week!

So that’s the lineup this week, pretty awesome right! Tune in and let all your rocker friends know about the killer new releases on the stream!
