Raise Your Horns & CRANK It UP!
Black Label Society “Doom Crew Inc.”
We picked up this pre-order a while back and finally got the complete album in our hands and it is awesome guys! Doom Crew Inc. is both a tribute to the band’s “first to bleed, last to leave” road crew and a salute to the legion whose support, stretching back to 1998, rivals that of the KISS Army. The Black Label Society biker-style battle vest “kutte” is as ubiquitous at hard rock and metal shows as a black t-shirt.
Released November 26TH 2021 via Spinefarm Records “Doom Crew Inc. takes BLS to a whole new level with the incredible songs and anyone who loves Zakk Wylde’s vocals will wanna pick up this one!
Dirty Laces “Breathe” single
Manchester based DIRTY LACES have been making an impact on the Manchester music scene for a few years. Delivering a high octane, punk tinged sound, blended with some of the legendary UK Classic Rock influences, DIRTY LACES hit you with heavy riffs and addictive melodies, that produces powerful Mancunian rock’n’roll with a dirty garage edge.
‘Breathe’ shows a different side to Dirty Laces, its stripped back and raw. Covering key issues that dawn on every human such as their own mortality and the struggle to discover oneself. The band aren’t afraid to show their vulnerability and need to express their inner feelings whilst giving a nod to famous literature. The space in the song allowed the group to experiment sonically with instruments that you wouldn’t usually associate the Dirty Laces with such as synthesisers, the famous Parr Street Mellotron and lap steel guitars that create psychedelic journey as the song progresses to its climax.
Mädhouse “Bad Habits”
After the debut album “Money Talks Bullshit Walks”, Mädhouse did not laze around and with “Bad Habits” the band comes up with their second album, which shows the band much more mature and grown but even though crazier than before. With the signing at ROAR! Rock Of Angels Records and the partial replacement of some members, the Austrians has taken themselves to the next level and recorded a 15 tracks album that perfectly reflects the attitude of the band. Snotty street rock meets catchy melodies in the style of their heroes from early days like Motley Crew, Skid Row, Poison and Def Leppard. “Bad Habits” makes clear what the band stands for “Sex, Drugs & Rock?n?Roll”!
“Bad Habits” was released through ROAR! Rock of Angels Records physically and digitally worldwide on April 23, 2021. We finally got our hands on this smokin’ good new album and can’t wait to play it for all you lil’ devils out there!
Mercury Rising “Runaway” single
We are pleased to bring you “Runaway” the new single by London quartet Mercury Rising. “Runaway is the first single from Mercury Rising in 2021, marking an era of experimentation for the band. Musically, the track draws on influences from 70’s Southern Rock and focuses on modernizing elements of that much loved sound.
What’s the song about? “Runaway tells the boy meets girl story, with no happy ending, just a euphoric memory of a fleeting and exciting encounter. Maybe sometimes that’s better”. Also we have thrown in a few extra killer tracks from Mercury Rising to sweatn’ the cake!
Vintage AOR on The Way
Vintage AOR singles from our collection will be hitting the radio starting this week! We’ve got favorites like Mox Nix, Highway 31, Moxy, Racer X, UFO, Torch, Gunpowder and RIOT on the way!!!
