Volster “Arise”
Continuing the songwriting collaboration between Ulf and Henrik, the “Arise” album includes songs in the vein of the band’s debut album “Perfect Storm”. On “Arise”, Volster expands genres to not only include American and British melodic rock but also a blend of AOR and prog rock elements. Still, the main inspiration comes from the music the members grew up listening to with focus on strong melodies and great riffs. Lyrically the album handles subjects related to reflections of life and the state of the world today. The album was written, recorded, produced and mixed by Volster and co-mixed and mastered by Thomas “Plec” Johansson (The Panic Room Studio).
Arise is the bands second full length album and was released worldwide via Roar! Rock Of Angels Records on November 13TH!

WinterKat “The Struggle”
In the mid 1980s San Antonio, TX was unquestionably one of North America’s hottest metal cities, boasting the likes of Heather Leather, Wyzard, the infamous S.A. Slayer and hometown heroes WINTERKAT.
1988 saw the release of “The Struggle” from the quintet, an album that garnered rave reviews from across the globe and positioned them as potential major league contenders. As we all know, the music business isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be and those that are the most deserving often miss that brass ring. Such was the case with WINTERKAT and The Struggle became a highly sought after cult classic.
In 2019 “The Struggle” was reissued through 20th Century Music / Vanity Music Group, with the label adding four bonus tracks to the recording. And a year after that release, the band decided they wanted the album to be available in digital format so it’s now available on nearly three dozen digital platforms across the globe, including iTunes, Spotify and more.
We wanted to share this killer album with all of you and hope you like it as much as we do. Now readily available the classic and melodic mix on the album makes it a sure hit in any collection. Like what you hear get your copy and let Winterkat know you love the album too.
